We went out on Saturday to sight in our new Tika T3 .308. That was the intent and purpose of our excursion. Well, being a guy, and being the owner of a few guns, Troy was ready to go as soon as he had his .308, .270, .217, .44, .45, and Andrew's pellet gun!! I just laughed when I walked in and saw all the gun cases lined up and ready to go. Good thing he didn't feel like bringing the other half!! I guess he figured that if he was going to shoot one, he might as well shoot the rest. I never did ask him why he didn't bring the rest. Guess I should do that!
So off we went to the range. It was a typical rainy day, so thankfully we had a covered area to shoot from. He never did shoot the .270 because we ran out of daylight. I rarely shoot the guns, so I like to every now and then to keep up on my skill. I carry the .44 as bear protection so I like to know that I still know how to shoot it should the time ever come for that! And I wanted to shoot the .308 since it we bought it for me to use when I go hunting with Troy. His other's are to heavy for me to hold steady and this one is real light weight and easy for me to control. Troy planned to go hunting tomorrow (but isn't now due to bad weather) and he wanted to break in the .308 so he needed to go sight it in. We had a lot of fun and will go again when the price of bullets goes down!!
Troy is shooting his .45
Shooting my .44 I hit the target with every shot!
Andrew was so proud of himself. He had to show me EVERY hole made from his pellet gun! Won't be long before he is shooting a big boy gun!
