Snow!!

WE GOT SNOW!!!! Okay, it was only a skiff, a dusting, a tease, but it was white and it was cold! Every night the kids pray and ask God if He could "please, please have the sun come out!" Well, the last few days it has been can He "please, please have it snow?!" I just love it when God gives them those simple, yet profound moments. And the kids were so excited. It was bed time and I knew that they would not be able to sleep knowing that the snow had come. And I know that we are still in Sitka, which means that there is a good chance the snow will be gone in the morning. So I told them that they could put there boots on and go outside for a few minutes. I think they were out the door before I finished my sentence!!

Andrew made a big snow ball and asked if he could put it in the freezer. So there it now sits!
Meg's hands were sooo red!! But she doesn't like to be bothered with gloves and a coat. I had to tell her she couldn't go out without at least her jacket!!

And what snowy day would be complete without a snowball fight?!
