We had a real fun Christmas this year and the kids were excited about all of their gifts. This was the first year that they really got into it with the excitement and anticipation and preparations and gift giving. They were gone most of December, hidden away somewhere in the house working on all kinds of creative homemade gifts for us. Then it was into the wrapping paper where they would wrap and use up all the rest of the tape. They were so ecxited to give them to us that they usually talked us into opening them early! They also were so excited to buy gifts for us all and willingly spent every penny of their hard earned birthday money to get us things. They wouldn't hear about not using their money, so we let them. It was a perfect teaching time in many ways! Here are a few pictures (well, pretty much the only pictures I took!) of them with their new treasures.
