It is not very often that we have temperatures in the 80's here so when we got it this 4th of July weekend, we weren't going to spend more than a minute indoors! So after a fun parade, we grabbed the boat and the gear and headed for Allan Point cabin. We went again with our friends Don and Karen and their two boys Trevor and Logan. And of course the three Golden Retrievers and the Papillon!
This picture makes me very patriotic as I see our flag waving in the wind and our National bird sitting so proudly above it!

Men in Blue....

anyone hungry??....

ready to defend......

grabbing the candy........

the kids waved their flags in excitement......

I just LOVE the red white and blue.......

the Coast Guard did a three aircraft formation flyover -
it was awesome!!.....

then they did a SAR demonstration. I have seen it a hundred
times, but this time I had my camera ready......

then it was off to the cabin for some playtime. after unloading
the boat and having some dinner, Troy went knee boarding
with a few guys from work that came out. he claims that the
57* water wasn't "too cold" but I'm not sure I am buying that!...

the rope swing is always a favorite place to hang out......

the cabin is a real nice two story with great decks......

where's Ruby? she spent her whole time underwater.....

the first night we were there we were sitting by the camp fire
and in walked a visitor. she was a young'un and ran off when
we chased her, but not before we took some pictures......

andrew and trevor helping provide firewood....

why are camp breakfasts soooo good??.......

we went out and caught dinner, yumm........

It was hard to pack up and head back into town, but we know that we can always go again. Besides, that shower felt soooo good!
