On Saturday Nelly and Ruby went to the second annual dog show. Nelly was so excited to go and made sure her dog was brushed and beautiful the night before. She was entered in 5 catagories and won second place in two - Most Obedient and Best Female. Nelly had such a great attitude about winning - she was smiling and saying that it was okay if she didn't win because she still had fun. But her ears were straining while they were announcing the winners and the second she heard her name, she was on her way up to get the prize! It was a great day for her.

she was so proud of her dog that everywhere we go now, she informs whomever we run into that her dog won at the dog show!
