Nelly and Fathom

Today was another beautiful day so Nelly, Fathom and I headed to the beach while Megan was at ballet practice. The *beach* is really a point that has rocks to climb on - more during low tide. It is right next to the end of the runway, so if we time it just right, we can see Alaska Airlines land or take off. It also looks out over the water where the boats leave and enter the harbor. It is a peaceful place to sit and relax and enjoy the beauty. And the kids have so much fun!
here is Nelly, looking out at the scenery.......
fathom came to join her.....

this is what they were looking at - i think.......

walking along the shore......

going to the top.....

another view point......

i liked the way the rock was being exposed as the tide went out.....

climb, fathom, climb.....!

two friends......

this wasn't at the beach, but i couldn't resist putting it in here.
it is days like today that you don't mind living in Sitka!
