Well, call us crazy, but we just got another puppy. Apparently we didn't get our fill of housebreaking a pup with Fathom and had to do it over again. So..... meet Pirate. He is a Mini Australian Shepherd that we found down in Oregon. We got him for Nelly, so we had great fun in surprising her at the airport. When Troy and Andrew arrived home after being gone for two weeks, they arrived with a fur ball. She saw a "cute puppy" get brought into baggage claim and when we told her it was for her, she was stunned. And over-joyed!! He is a sweet tempered little guy and if now is any indication, will be perfect for her. And will fit into the family just right. A Mini Aussie is about 20-25 pounds and about 15 inches tall. But have just as much hardiness and stamina and agility as a full sized Aussie. A perfect Alaska dog!!

This little guy couldn't have a better owner than Nellie. I'm sure they are the perfect fit. He will be mothered to death and she'll be stern, but loving and caring. Who's cuter you ask?! No doubt the little blonde with blue eyes and only two legs. She's my favorite of the two pictured. This grandma loves ALL of her grandkids with all of my leaky heart (tee hee).....
