David Walters is an Olympian swimmer that the swim club that Andrew swims with had come up to Sitka to do a 4 hour swim clinic today. So, Andrew got to swim with a gold medalist!! David hangs out with guys like Michael Phelps and Aaron Peirsol, and Andrew Brevik!! It was pretty cool to watch him swim as he is so relaxed and fluid in the water. I don't think he has to work hard at it! Andrew had fun and by the time it was done, he was exhausted. At one time, Andrew was the last kid in the pool finishing his lap and David got in the water with him and encouraged him on. When Andrew got to the side of the pool, everyone started clapping for him! Watch for Andrew in a few years - he will be the blonde kid from Alaska in the summer Olympics =^ )

Andrew - I am so proud of you! You are a great swimmer and one really special guy to Grandma! You obviously had a blast. Keep up the good work, guy. I'll certainly be watching for the Summer Olympics in a few years to see you on the podium to recieve your medal!!!! Love, Grandma Cookie and Papa
