We have had a long and very wet winter, so when the sun was shining today, there was NO WAY we were staying inside! It was a mild 50* out, although there was a little bit of a nip in the air. So we headed to John Brown Beach and enjoyed a couple hours soaking in our natural Vitamin D. It felt great and because there was no wind, not even the hint of a breeze, we were nice and warm. If you imagined away the nippy chill, you could imagine that it was summer.
There was a fog bank that burned off shortly after we arrived at the beach. You can see a group of kayaker coming around the rocks......

nelly spends her entire time throwing rocks into the water
for the dogs. she had a visitor join her here......

sitka is beautiful when the sun is shining and the sky is blue.....

when we got home, megan got to make us her *circle pizzas* and brownies.
it was a perfect end to a perfect afternoon.......
