Sunshine and Snow!!

So, something rare happened today - we saw the sun!! It felt so good to put sunglasses on and to feel the natural warmth of the sun. It is cold out so we can't really go outside and enjoy it much, but it sure does a lot to lift spirits when you look out the window and see the bright sunlight! After my last blog about the Rainy Day Blahs, we had a change in the weather and it turned to snow. Snow is MUCH better than rain!! The kids were so excited and went outside and played for two days straight. The scenery was beautiful. It was the big, fluffy flakes that stick to everything so the trees were weighted down with, the rooftops were covered with it, and the roads were packed with it. This lasted for two days and then last night, it cleared up and this morning WE HAD SHADOWS!!!!!!

Here are a few photos of the snowy days we just had. Troy gets so excited when

he gets to go out and plow. It is one of his favorite winter sports! I can't go with

him because it stresses me out too much. I can't handle how close he has to get to the

edge of a ditch, or the steepness of a driveway, or the speed he has to have to slam the

snow up high on the burm. It feels like the truck is going to break in half! Or the plow

is going to come through the floor! So I stay home and make hot chocolate!

Anyone for a burger?!.........
